Steel has always met the expectations of aircraft manufacturers for its high strength, its homogeneous side and its ease with which it can be moulded. Different types of treatments have allowed to vary the characteristics of this alloy. For example, in addition to hard steels, we can found mild steels, whose low density allows a use for the structure of the aircraft.
