Superalloys are metallic alloys generally composed of nickel and cobalt, but recent developments in the metallurgical field have introduce other metals such as titanium and aluminium. This class of special materials mainly found its utility in the design of engines and aircraft turbines. This is justified by their extreme resistance to corrosion and oxidation, twisting, but also to deformation under high temperature.
