Crisplant and BEUMER integrate baggage handling systems with 100% Hold Baggage Screening (HBS) solutions from all known suppliers of screening equipment.
The HBS systems handle both loose bags and bags in totes in a multi-level screening process designed to follow TSA (North America) or ECAC (EU and rest of the world) norms and standards or a combination of the two.
Multi-level screening concepts can be applied to baggage handling systems, for example by using Crisplant's CrisBag® integrated tote system which enables the airports to comply with the new EU Standard 3 for screening as well as providing a shorter connection time for transit passengers.
